Cast 40mm carburetor is adjustable type with dual cables.
Carburetor includes choke, accelerator pump, and built in return spring. Carburetor can also be used on 1957-1985 XL and 1966-1984 Big Twin models with modifications. When using on 1983-1988 Big Twins and 1986-1989 XL a new choke cable bracket and cable knob assembly will need to be fabricated for installation.
