BUB's 7 is truly descendent of pure speed and passion. Denis Manning, owner/operator of BUB Enterprises and Motorcycle Hall of Famer, first held the Ultimate Land Speed Record in 1970 and has since designed and built six of the ten fastest motorcycles of all time. In September 2006, Denis and the BUB team returned to the Bonneville Salt Flats with his seventh streamliner, aptly named "7". Two runs later at an average 350.884 mph, Denis realized his dream and recaptured the world land speed record.
When production engines wouldn't do the job, the BUB team did it themselves. From the Coho salmon-shaped chassis to the four-valve, 3000cc, 425hp engine, the 7 was designed and built in-house. The same ingenious design and commitment that went into building the fastest motorcycle in the world is also present in every BUB 7 exhaust system.
The moment you open the box, BUB's dedication to quality will be evident. As with building a world record-breaking machine, the smallest details can mean everything. A beveled inlet for easier installation, automated robotic polishing to ensure consistent shine and a multiple-position slash-cut outlet are just examples of this realization. Of course, to discover the true spirit of the 7, you need to crack the throttle.
BUB would only blaze the name "7" on an exhaust that produces mass power. As if yearning for the salt flats, these rockets pump out immense performance gains and a spine-shivering tone. Since spouting dyno numbers neglects what really matters, there's no better way to put it: Once you ride with the 7, you'll understand.
"WE MAKE EXHAUST BETTER THAN IT NEEDS TO BE."
